Theory Test...
A theory test will have to be taken before taking a practical test, unless you have passed
a moped test since 1st July 1996.
Driving Standards Agency test centres carry out theory tests.|
The test itself comprises of 35 computer generated multiple-choice questions
that cover all aspects of general road knowledge.
You must answer at least 30 correctly before a pass certificate will be
issued.
The certificate will be valid for 2 years, if you do not pass a practical
test within this period you will have to retake the theory test.
